About Philadelphia

Kappamen, Silhouettes, family, friends, and fellow Greeks, welcome to Philadelphia!

Good times most certainly await in the City of Brotherly Love, birthplace of the United States and the cheesesteak, the nation’s fifth largest City, and a City home to the second largest population of African Americans in the nation and Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Incorporated! During your visit, you’ll find that Philly is truly a Kappa City beyond housing the Fraternity’s International Headquarters! The City of Philadelphia boasts hundreds of men’s tailors, thousands of eateries, and an increasingly vibrant nightlife scene. Additionally, you’ll have a front row seat to countless street festivals, an endless collection of beer gardens, museums and art exhibits as well as views and vibes from, Fairmount Park, the largest municipal park in the country. Philly is also a hop and skip minus the jump from DC and New York in the center of a corridor that more than 25 percent of Americans call home. From the NFL Draft and the Democratic National Convention to the Made in America Music Festival, the World Meeting of the Families, and Super Bowl parades, there’s always something going on in Philly.
