About Kappa Alpha Psi – Founded in 1911, Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc. has more than 150,000 members worldwide and 700-plus college and alumni chapters.  The Fraternity established the Philadelphia (PA) Alumni Chapter on May 25, 1922. It was the third alumni chapter established in the eastern corridor, and the second city to accommodate both a Greek letter and alumni chapter.  Local chapters include Philadelphia, Norristown, Chester, and Abington Ambler alumni.  The undergraduate consists of the following: Epsilon Chapter at Lincoln University; Lambda Chapter at Temple University; Delta Eta at the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, and citywide affiliated universities; Gamma Omega at Cheyney State University; and Kappa Gamma at West Chester University.  Nationally, the fraternity is highly regarded for wide variety of programs that benefit the communities of its members.  The services aid children, families and others through the provision of economic services, youth guidance and merit, need-based college scholarships and much more.
